There are two components of learning in IKM; technical and general studies. One of the subjects taught under the general studies is the English subject. IKM Lumut students are taught by 10 highly inspired and well trained English lecturers. They are:

basic preparation for the workplace communication. An effective teaching of the English
language is taught hands-on and in integrative ways where all four skills are focused, i.e the
writing, reading, speaking and listening skills.

ReplyDeleteA skillful teacher can inspire, motivate, stimulate and develop the mind of students. He or she must be well educated and be able to work in diversify of students and the most important is must be highly competent in presenting subject matter.....go! go! teachers...wake up!!!!

ReplyDeleteAlong with teaching classes, teachers at all levels must also prepare lesson plans, grade tests, coordinate with other service-providing professionals, and attend school meetings.Experienced teachers may also mentor new teachers....what else do teachers do??
